Echo
Background
Many traders currently rely on PineConnector for automating their trading strategies, especially those who have experience coding their scripts. However, we recognize that a significant number of traders prefer a more hands-on approach, manually executing trades, while still leveraging automation on the side.
We've also heard from users about the occasional reliability issues with TradingView's alert webhooks, where signals can be delayed or even missed entirely. And wouldn’t it be convenient to have a centralized control panel to monitor and manage all your connected trading accounts from one place—almost like having a master account?
That’s why we designed PineConnector Echo—to solve these issues and take your trading experience to the next level.
“Inside every problem lies an opportunity.”
PineConnector Echo Features
PineConnector Echo is an innovative extension crafted to enhance your trading experience by offering three core features:
- Trigger Trading Actions Anywhere
- Monitor and Manage Trades in Real-Time
- Capture Missing TradingView Signals
While your accounts are connected to MetaTrader and running the PineConnector EA, Echo allows you to manually initiate buy or sell positions directly from TradingView, using the Echo UI. You can easily set your preferred stop-loss (SL) and take-profit (TP) levels as you place trades, giving you flexibility and control.
Echo provides a centralized dashboard where you can view and manage all your trades in real time. Whether trades were executed manually or automatically, you can adjust SL/TP levels or close positions directly from the Echo UI. This feature is especially useful for traders handling multiple accounts, providing a simple and efficient way to manage everything remotely.
Echo addresses the common issue of missed TradingView signals. It monitors your TradingView alert logs, identifying any entries that weren’t processed by PineConnector. If a signal is missed, Echo can automatically generate the missing action, ensuring no signals slip through the cracks.
Installation
To run Echo, please download the extension via the Google Chrome Extension link. Please note only those invited will be able to access Echo.

Triggering Trades (Buy/Sell)
Before initiating trades using Echo, please consider the following:
- Trade Execution Across Instances: In the current preview version (v1.0.1), trades triggered through Echo will be sent to all instances associated with your preassigned License ID. For example, if you have three instances connected to your License ID, a trade initiated via Echo will execute on all three trading accounts.
- Setting SL, TP, and Risk Parameters: Ensure you configure your preferred SL and TP levels (optional) and set your risk parameter (required). The risk value must be greater than 0 (e.g., 0.01 or 1.23).
- Active Chart Symbol: The symbol for the trade is determined by the active chart in your browser. To identify the active chart, look at the name of the tab in Chrome. To change the active chart, click on a different chart or enter a new symbol.
- Trade Confirmation: Once a trade is initiated through Echo, it will appear in the signal log and in the Experts tab of your MetaTrader terminal.
TradingView Tips
You can type the symbol name, like XAUUSD
, directly in TradingView, and change the timeframe by typing numbers like 30
for 30 minutes or 1440
for a 1-day chart
If you have multiple charts open, make sure to click on the chart corresponding to the symbol you wish to trade so that Echo recognizes it.
For instance, when you are viewing the EURUSD
chart and click the Buy button, Echo will automatically trigger a buy position on EURUSD
across all your connected accounts, based on your specified SL, TP, and risk parameters.
Modifying SL and TP
- Based on MetaTrader Target Type: The adjustments to SL and TP will correspond to the target type set in your MetaTrader EA settings. If your target type is set to pips, the new values will be calculated in pips. If set to percentage, calculations will be in percentage terms. Price targets are also supported, but use caution as there may be slight differences between price quotes on TradingView and MetaTrader.
Closing Trades
- Selective Trade Closure: You can close specific positions, such as a buy
EURUSD
trade on one of your accounts, by clicking the X button under the Actions column in the Echo UI.
Limitations
- Selective Instance Execution: Currently, Echo does not allow you to select which licenses or instances to send trades to. Trades are sent to all instances associated with your License ID. We plan to introduce this feature in our roadmap.
- SL and TP Modification Constraints: Changing SL and TP is currently limited to the volume type set on MetaTrader. We aim to enhance this by adding settings in the modification pop-up within Echo, allowing for better control and overrides.
- Signal Log Display: The table in Echo presently shows the latest five signals. We intend to expand this in future updates to display a more extensive history of recent signals.
- Usage of Comments: At this time, comments in trades are limited to the signal ID with the account number. We plan to allow customization of comments in later versions.
- Pending Orders: The current preview supports only market orders. Support for pending orders will be added in future releases to simplify the initial testing phase.
- Symbol Mapping in Echo: There is currently no symbol mapping feature within Echo or a mapping template for cases where broker symbols change. We are working on implementing this functionality.
Tips for Optimizing Your Experience
- Risk Management: Always double-check your risk settings before initiating trades to ensure they align with your trading strategy and risk tolerance.
- Active Chart Awareness: Be mindful of which chart is active in your browser to prevent accidental trades on unintended symbols. To be safe, we recommend using the single-chart view to avoid accidental triggers to wrong symbols.
- Feedback: Your input is valuable. If you encounter any issues or have suggestions for improvements, please reach out to our support team.
