Telegram notifications
Link Telegram to PineConnector Tasks and change the linked account when needed.
Legacy subscriptions: Advanced and Professional also include Telegram notifications under their documented allowances.
Link your Telegram account to receive notifications from PineConnector Tasks. Linking Telegram and enabling a task’s Telegram delivery are separate steps.
Before you begin
Section titled “Before you begin”- Sign in to your PineConnector Portal.
- Have Telegram available on the phone you want to use.
- Confirm Telegram notifications are included with your subscription.
Link Telegram
Section titled “Link Telegram”1. Open notification settings
Section titled “1. Open notification settings”Open Tasks → Activity in Portal, or use the Activity page. Find Configure Notifications and select the QR-code icon beside Telegram Notifications.
Enlarge2. Scan your QR code
Section titled “2. Scan your QR code”Use your phone’s camera to scan the QR code shown by Portal. Open the resulting link in Telegram.
3. Start the bot
Section titled “3. Start the bot”Telegram opens PineConnector Alerts. Tap Start to complete the link, then look for Connection Successful.
4. Confirm the linked account
Section titled “4. Confirm the linked account”Return to Portal and refresh the Activity page. Check the linked Telegram account shown there. The page also displays a countdown until another account change is allowed.
5. Enable delivery for your task
Section titled “5. Enable delivery for your task”Return to Tasks. Open the relevant task’s configuration, select Telegram as a delivery method and save.
What success looks like: Portal shows the intended linked Telegram account, and the task is configured to use Telegram. Review its next relevant event in Activity to check the delivery result.
Change your Telegram account
Section titled “Change your Telegram account”- Open Tasks → Activity and check the countdown beside the linked account.
- When the change is available, use the QR-code linking flow again with the Telegram account you want to use.
- Refresh Activity and confirm the new linked account.
- Check the delivery method on each task that should send Telegram notifications.
If you linked the wrong account and cannot yet change it, contact PineConnector Support. Do not post the QR code or a Telegram token in a support screenshot.
If no message arrives
Section titled “If no message arrives”Check that you tapped Start, Portal shows a linked account, and Telegram is saved as a delivery method on the relevant task. Then check Activity: a task may not have triggered yet, or its recorded result may explain the missing message.
See Tasks and notifications for delivery limits and the difference between an action running and a notification being sent.
