Pine Script defines your TradingView script. PineConnector Syntax defines the alert message it sends. Choose the guide for the change you need to make.
Work with an older script
Section titled “Work with an older script”Convert Pine Script to v5 or v6 explains the version-conversion path for legacy examples. A script version change and adding PineConnector alerts are separate tasks.
Add PineConnector alerts
Section titled “Add PineConnector alerts”- Add alerts to your script for the existing Pine Script v5 strategy and indicator examples, plus message-building guidance.
- Connect a Pine Script to PineConnector for the manual adaptation path and its prerequisites.
- Connect without code access if you cannot edit the source but the script provides suitable alert conditions.
Review messages and verification
