PineConnector Cloud was built to give our automation software the dedicated hardware it deserves. By integrating reliable VPS infrastructure directly into PineConnector, we’ve become a true all-in-one solution for retail algo-trading. Users can manage and control their Cloud directly from the PineConnector Portal, keeping everything in one place without juggling multiple logins or services.

In collaboration with ForexVPS, each Cloud server comes with custom configurations designed for traders. You’ll find 10 MetaTrader 5 instances preinstalled and pinned on the taskbar, the latest PineConnector EA ready to go, and a unique wallpaper that blends ForexVPS green with PineConnector blue. These touches, along with other small optimizations, ensure you can start trading right away without tedious setup. The ultimate plug-and-play!

Since not every trader requires dedicated hardware, PineConnector Cloud is available as an add-on, giving flexibility to those who need it. For serious traders, the new Professional Plan includes Cloud for free, and we highly encourage making use of it for maximum reliability and uptime.

Broker Latency

Broker latency refers to the time it takes for your MetaTrader terminal to communicate with your broker’s server. In simple terms, it’s the “ping” between your trading platform and your broker’s data center. Lower latency means your trade instructions reach the broker faster, reducing the risk of slippage or delayed fills.

PineConnector Cloud is simplified to two server locations: London and New York. Popular brokers such as FTMO, Pepperstone, and SwitchMarkets are already optimized with lightning-fast connections.

Actual live latency may vary slightly depending on network conditions, but it remains consistently very low compared to typical home setups (often 200–300ms). On PineConnector Cloud, you are effectively colocated with your broker’s servers, delivering near-instant execution speed.

Why Milliseconds Matter

Latency is not just about numbers. It directly affects your trade outcomes.

Time Example Placing 3 back-to-back orders:

With 3ms latency, all 3 orders reach the broker in about 9ms.
With 300ms latency, those same orders take nearly 1 full second (900ms).

In fast-moving markets, 1 second can be the difference between entering before a move or after it has already started.

Profit Example During a news release, EURUSD might move 1 pip every 200ms:

At 3ms latency, your order is filled almost instantly, catching the move near the start.
At 300ms latency, you could be filled 1–1.5 pips later, leading to worse entry prices, wider spreads, and more slippage. Over multiple trades, these small differences compound and can significantly impact profitability.

Lower latency means earlier entries before price moves, tighter spreads, reduced slippage, and faster fills. This consistency is especially valuable for scalpers, traders running prop firm challenges, or anyone relying on precise execution. It is the difference between watching a move happen and being in the move from the start.

Cloud on its own costs $59.90 per month. With Starter, Cloud drops to $39.99. With Advanced, it’s only $29.99. On Professional, Cloud is fully included, saving you the full $59.90 every month.

The higher the plan, the more cost-effective it gets. Professional gives you every PineConnector feature plus premium Cloud at no extra charge, making it the smartest and most economical choice for serious traders.

Portal

To get started with Cloud, head over to the Cloud page inside your PineConnector Portal. From there, select your preferred Cloud location (New York or London — you can always change this later) and then choose the Cloud plan that fits your needs: Cloud Only, Starter with Cloud, Advanced with Cloud, or Professional with Cloud.

After upgrading to your desired Cloud plan, the Cloud page will become available. Provisioning your Cloud takes about 5 minutes.

When provisioning is complete, you’ll receive an email with your login credentials. Below is a sample email with the details you can expect:

On the Cloud page itself, you’ll only see your IP address and username. For security reasons, your Cloud password is sent exclusively by email and will never be displayed inside the PineConnector Portal.

Accessing the Cloud (Mac)

For Mac users, we recommend using the Windows App from the Mac App Store to connect to your Cloud.

1. Download the Windows App

Open the Windows App on the Mac App Store.
Click Get to install.

2. Add Your Cloud PC

In the top-right corner of the Windows App, click + and select Add PC.

3. Enter Cloud Details

Paste your Cloud IP address into the PC Name field.

Under Credentials, click Add Credentials. Enter your Cloud username and password from the email.

In the Friendly name field, type something memorable (e.g., PineConnector Cloud).

(Optional) Group your saved connection under PineConnector Cloud for easier access later.
Click Add to save.

4. Connect to Cloud

Your saved PC will now appear under Devices.

Double-click the entry to connect.
When prompted, press Enter or click Continue.

Once connected, you will see the PineConnector-ForexVPS wallpaper.
Ten MetaTrader 5 instances, pre-installed with the latest PineConnector EA, will be pinned to the taskbar.
